Details
Valve castings are manufactured using sand casting or investment casting processes, producing key valve components such as valve bodies, bonnets, and supports. Common materials include WCB, stainless steel, and ductile iron. The castings feature a dense microstructure, with strict control over defects like shrinkage cavities, porosity, and cracks.
